Porter got baptized the day after his birthday. It was a really neat experience. I truly can't believe that he is old enough to be baptized. There was a really nice program and then the baptism and confirmation. It was short and sweet and just perfect. We then went back to our house and had a little dinner and cake and ice cream. Porter looked so dang handsome in his little suit. He has always wanted a suit and I always told him he could get one when he turned eight. So he got a new suit, belt and shoes. He kept looking in the mirror and saying, Hmm I look good!! I just can't believe I look this good!! He is funny and surely takes after his dad!! It was a really great weekend. We had all of our family here for his birthday and baptism. It was a lot of fun for him to have all of his cousins in town. It was a crazy and fun weekend. I can not believe how fast time flies.

That is one future missionary right there!!! Holy hunk!! Congrats on the baptism!! I love it when that 8th birthday comes. It's a neat experience for everyone!! When it comes to sending him off on a mission for two years, you might wish you were Catholic!!!!
I was thinking about Porter on the 29th since I remember when he turned 4 and had a "real" b-day for the first time. I can't believe you have an 8 year old with 3 others and I'm just getting started in August! I'm glad you had a great weekend...congrats Porter!

At least he's right. He does look good in his suit. I've been waiting to buy Klellin a suit for when he turns 8. He'll be bugging me from now until June because Porter has one and he doesn't.
I'm so grateful he has such good friends.

Wade!... Hello!!! It's amazing how you can find old friends through your H.S. friends! Your family is beautiful, as is your wife... which we met long ago! Anyway, looks like you've got a big, happy family! And one that just turned 8!... WoW!!! :) Well, Kristalyn and I went to school together. I was responding back to a mutual friend and noticed her page, then came to your fam! Crazy!! So nice to see you and your darling family! Always wishing you the Best!! Take Care! :) Natalie(Murdock)Whiteley
Wade~ Before you know it you'll be sending him off on a mission!!! Your lil' family is so cute! Good thing you got a girl for the sake of your wife and to keep things in order, right?! :) Josh and I are doing great!... just staying busy of course! We have lived in LA for almost a year now! Are we ever going to have a life out of school??!!... doesn't feel like it! Did you ever feel like that? :) That is so awesome that you're good friends with Ryan and Minnie! Minnie and I grew up together, since we were lil' munchkins! Yeah, I've known those two forever! Tell them Hello from us! Kristin is doing good! She lives in Herriman, has two gorgeous girls and is expecting a boy in a few months now. Her link is on my blog. Anyway, so nice to hear from you! As always, take care and keep in touch! Love Natalie :)
