SNOW DAYS

We received quite a bit of snow yesterday and today! I had to take these cute pictures of Rexton out helping Wade shovel snow. He is such a big helper. Then while it was snowing an amazing sunset showed up in the West it was awesome. How blessed we are to live in an area where we can enjoy such beauty!

LOSING IT!!

Can I just say that some days, I am truly losing it. Yes that right. Can't keep together and can't find my brain. So last night, we took the family out for a little treat at Dairy Queen. Of course we get there and then they don't want ice cream they want a Frazil so I fill the cups up and then we go to the DQ side and Wade and I get ice cream. We chit chat and eat part of our treats and then we head for home. We get almost home and I realize, I walked right out of the Chevron with out paying for the Frazils. First offense, then today I had this lunch at the Timberline with my dear friend Darla who won a lunch thing there. So it was free but I had to pay for the Kids (yeah I had all four kids). They had pancakes and the bill was $6.32 we are done eating and they start running around and I am trying to control them (to no avail) and then I am like we are out of here lets go!! So we head on out to the van and head home just as I get home I realize, Offense #2. I walked out and didn't pay for the pancakes!! Can you believe it. I am a criminal!! I called them and then took care of it but really come on Do I have a brain? At times, I think not! Hope you all enjoyed that little story.

Look alike Meter

I went and did the whole look alike meter thing and this is the picture I used of the kids. It was very interesting. Instead of posting all four of the meters I will just share the results. Porter looks like Wade & I equally, Crayton looks like Wade by 13%, as does Rexton, like Wade 13%, and Elsie looks like me by a mere 4%. So there you have it. I can't say that I believe in the meters 100% but it was fun! Thanks Julie for the idea. It seems you may have started something!!

Oh The Good Times!!

Here are some more beautiful sunsets! This is our little romantic get away in Puerto Vallarta Mexico last year. We had all kinds of fun. I'm pretty sure Elsie is our souvenir from this trip! Oh I am so ready for Summer. Nice weather and a little bit of color to my skin. I am like pasty, tooth paste white (you know the Colgate plain old white). Its kind of sickly. Anyway, time moves fast and I can't believe this trip was well over a year ago. I am so ready for another trip like this (minus the souvenir). Somewhere, anywhere would be nice. Although I need to get Elsie to drink something other than Booby Soup! Then a trip might actually be possible. Ta Ta For now!!

I thought I would share these amazing photos of the the view I had out of my kitchen window the other evening. Oh yes Home Sweet Home!!! We often get these kinds of sunsets. I love Sunsets.

I FINALLY DID IT!!

Well after much debate, I pierced Elsie ears (I myself didn't do it, I had a professional :). It has been an open discussion for a couple months now. Wade preferred that I didn't but then said whatever so I took that as a strong YES and I had her ears pierced. She does look darling and Wade actually doesn't mind at all, despite the fact that I have ruined her and she is no longer pure and innocent.J/K He really didn't mind! But that was his initial argument. She is really growing up fast and getting around everywhere. Since she has become mobile, my life has become increasingly difficult. She is really developing her own little personality and attitude. We love her and she is such a nice addition to our family.

SO COLD!!

It has been quite cold the last few days. Like really cold. Like your nose hairs freeze and your eyes freeze open. I went outside to feed the dog and to let him out and I came back in looking like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber. Wade thought I looked super hot! Anyway, I guess the kids are also feeling the cold. Tonight I looked over and found Rexton in this position in front of the fire. He is a funny little kid.

FISH TALE

Wade took the boys ice fishing on Saturday. They had a blast!! They got all bundled up in snow pants, gloves, hats, etc., to go and sit around an ice hole. When Wade wasn't looking, Porter and Crayton put some money around the ice hole, and then when Wade bent over to pick it up, they kicked him right in the (ice hole). Needless to say his bum was a little sore when they returned. HA HA. Anyway, they had a fabulous time. They did catch several fish and even caught a 23 incher and brought it home for lunch. DISGUSTING!! It was a nice fish but I wasn't that excited when Wade brought it into the kitchen and fried it up for lunch. YUCK!! All in all the boys loved it all!

I'M BACK

I have now once again entered the blogging world. Life has been crazy with the Holidays and everything but it was so much fun. We really had a great time. Our kids had such a blast. It was fun to spend time with family and friends. We are truly blessed to have so much joy in our lives. Now it is into the new year. I can't believe it is already 2008. May we roll on with the GOOD TIMES into 2008!!
