Wade had the privilege of delivering Elsie and taking care of her,

this is their special bonding moment. The Birthday Girl!

I can't believe it, Elsie turned one yesterday! Time has gone by so fast!! We had a little cupcake party for her. It was small and simple. She was so funny wondering what all the fuss was about. But she was actually a little grumpy, I think she is getting some teeth! I tried out my homemaking skills and made her a cake. (Am I crazy? yes) It was not fabulous but it turned out pretty cute! She seemed to like it and my boys thought it was awesome so therefore they think I'm awesome!! Yeah!! She had a lot of fun opening her presents as did her brothers. Little Rex just had so fun and has been pushing the stroller around with a baby doll in it all day! Needless to say he loves all of Elsie's new toys and thinks that they are his! My mom gave her the little white rocking chair. It was actually mine when I was little and had been put up in my parents attic and forgotten. My Grandma gave it to me when I turned one and my mom repainted and gave to Elsie so that was pretty cool. She climbed right in and loved it. I must say that we sure love this little girl and feel so blessed to have her in our family. Happy Birthday baby girl!!!

LAS VEGAS!!

Last week we took a fun, yet completely exhausting, family vacation! We went to Las Vegas! We stayed in nice 3 bedroom condo. The resort had an awesome swimming pool, lazy river, and rec. room. We went to the Adventure Dome at Circus Circus. The kids had a blast riding on all the rides. We also went to the MGM and yada yada. We only spent one day doing the actual Vegas things. I had a lot more on my list of things I wanted to do with them but to tell you the truth, one can only handle so much. The rest of the time we just let the kids swim and play. One of the nights we were there, Wade and I went to Phantom of the Opera. It was amazing. We both really loved it!! All it all it was a great and may I mention again, exhausting trip!

Germs!

So I just wanted to warn you all about Jimmy THE GERM!!! Let's all make sure we wash our hands with warm water and soap (especially after we go potty) and cover our mouths when we cough or sneeze and try not to wipe boogies on other people, Please!!! We don't want to be spreading around that nasty Jimmy the Germ!! :)
I was going through some old pictures and found this. I thought is was so funny. Back in the days of school,Wade and his buddy Brady had to do a presentation at a home for mentally handicapped people . As you can guess, they did it on good hygiene and not spreading germs!! Anyway I thought it was funny so I decided to share it with you all. I mean isn't that the ugliest germ you've ever seen!!! I sure don't want to get caught with it. I'm cool with getting caught with that hottie on the right though!!

CRAZY!!!

Yesterday, my neighbor calls me up and says hey, Ashlee, your such a great neighbor, (that's what she wanted to say) but instead said, "Look off to the side of my house', I said, "What did you say?" Then she said, "go look on the side of my house", so I did and I was horrified for there in field 20ft from their lovely new vinyl fence was our TRAMPOLINE!! Yep, gone blown away by the wind. Then I said to her "Oh I sure hope its not too bent and broken", and she said "Oh, its broken alright, there are pieces strewn all over the road." I said :CRAP and then laughed my head off. I just couldn't believe it. Our trampolines life had come to an end. My little children were quite sad. It is quite sad though because besides hauling rock and dirt into my house all day, it is the only thing they could do in our rocky, rocky, backyard and they had just started to pay a lot of attention to it! So Farewell Trampoline so Sad!!

P.S. Our neighbors house is kiddy corner (is that the right word? kiddy) and like a block away that is how far it blew!!

NO HOPE!

Elsie has found that her new favorite toy is the big yellow dump truck. She climbs in and out and in and out. Then Rexton decided to push her around and that was the end of it. It officially is one of her favorite things to do. All the boys take turns pushing her and she just laughs! I always catch her with cars, trucks, transformers, and balls. I mean all these things really don't bring out any feminine qualities. I think I need to start providing her with some toys other than boy toys, so for her birthday she is getting all kinds of fun girly things. Anyway, she is darling and I hope that she will be a girly tom boy. If there is such a thing! I am pretty sure that is what I was! I could beat all the boys in arm wrestles until I was like in 7th grade!:) (What can I say I was tough and still am) I am probably one of the toughest girls around!! :)

BOYS FUN

I thought I would post some pictures of a typical Saturday. Not every Saturday because Wade is on call on some Sat. but quite often. They totally do the boy thing! Play baseball (or any sport) but right now it is usually baseball, shoot guns (usually BB guns) and ride four wheelers. Don't get me wrong I love all those boys things and I play an active role in those activities but I really can't wait until Elsie and I go do all of our girly things together. Although I have come to except the fact that with three brothers she might want to be doing exactly the same things the boys are. But hey I can have hope, Right?

ONCE AGAIN!

Here are a few funny pictures of Rexton! Once in awhile he has a lot of wheezing in his lungs, so we have to give him a nebulizer treatment. On this particular day, we couldn't find the mouth piece that goes to it so he had to wear the mask, which he hated but the second I said, "oh come on Rex and I will take some pictures", he started posing for me and this is what I got. Lasted for about 30 seconds and then the battle began again but hey I got a couple of really cute pictures!
